Starting my third, and last, internship or whatever it's called in English. I work side-by-side with an experienced nurse for five weeks, learning some new stuff for the trade I'm studying. So, I'm a bit, I dunno, unsure or something. Not sure what to expect from this one. May learn to take blood pressure, blood samples, care for people dying of terrible diseases etc.

... crossing my fingers on a resume I just submitted for a true, perfect-fit job. I'm tired of my current frustrations.
I hope everyone is doing well!

I'm having my last day in school tomorrow until I graduate on Friday. Can't believe it's been 18 months already. Not excited to be finished, I've enjoyed studying so much!

Congratulations on the achievement! What are your plans after graduating? Thanks, congrats on the job offer! My plans are to work for a few years and see how I feel after that. Haven't had a good income in 18 months, so it will be nice to work again.

I'm studying and finishing the manuscript during the summer. I'm living my dream at the moment (i.e. to become a published novelist). I'm just in ecstasy. My body is tingling all over... It's a Pride Week here in Helsinki. I'm going to march for victims of Orlando shooting on Saturday. Hope you are safe and sound!

I work at a home for people with dementia, but with the degree you can also work at hospitals and such.

Just wrapped week three - so much nicer to work in an office, with nice people, have my own thermostat, etc. We have a big event next week, so I have really had to focus on that and not really "learn" the basics of the place, but that will come soon. At least the event looks to come off well!

I work at a home for people with dementia, but with the degree you can also work at hospitals and such. Sounds like a geriatrics-focused degree, although that would focus solely on the older generation. Are there younger people who experience dementia as well? I hope it brings you good things!

Well, there is early on-set Alzheimer's, which the movie Still Alice is about (Julianne Moore won an Oscar for her role in it). You can get that in your 40's, not sure that counts as young, though!
