I'm Matt from Empty Nest Online, and I haven't been active here in a quite a long time. I wish I had a good reason why, too, but I don't…other than I hadn't been doing a lot of work to the site in a while, so there wasn't much to share. But I've got some - hopefully - cool new stuff in the works that I've started a thread about on the spinoffs forum, so it was a good time to come back. Plus the show is finally back on the air, too! (Now if only I got the channel it's airing on!)
I couldn't remember my old login info, or if it even still existed, so I created a new account.
To share a little about me, when I'm not updating the website or watching Empty Nest and The Golden Girls, I also write novels.
Anyway, glad to be back! I look forward to hearing from old pals and new.

Glad to have you back on our new home, Matt! Hopefully the Laff network is bringing some new attention to our favorite spin-off!
A fan of quality, classic television comedies and holiday specials...
The Golden Girls, The Facts of Life, Roseanne, Will and Grace, The Wonder Years, Burns and Allen, The Mary Tyler Moore Show, Are You Being Served?, Family Guy, South Park, Designing Women, Dallas, The Twilight Zone, Original Scooby-Doo, Murphy Brown, The Big Bang Theory...
Talk to me about one of these shows, and I'm all yours...
So nice to have you back, Matt! I'm really looking forward to read your books! Wishing you all the best, and hoping to see you more often in our new forum!
At the moment I'm reading Barbara Thorndyke's So Dark the Waves On Biscayne Bay.
So, I believe the best way to welcome you back is to quote The Golden Girls:
Barbara Thorndyke: Did you have a problem with my book, dear? Blanche: Yes, as a matter of fact I did, all those waves! Big waves. Little waves. Dark waves, rollin' in! Page after page! I had to take a Dramamine to get through chapter three! Barbara Thorndyke: Blanche, the waves are a metaphor. You see, a metaphor... Blanche: I know what a metaphor is, dear. I'm not a dummy. Rose Nylund: Blanche, what's a metaphor? Blanche: It's when you use a phrase to mean somethin' else. Like when I say "Men are blinded by my beauty". They're not really blinded. They get their sight back in a day or two!
"If memory serves me, we rushed back to the hotel, because you had the runs from that cheap lunch you bought us!"
Welcome back! Great to have you here with us again.
Blanche: Rose tells us you're gettin' married.
Sven: Yes, and I hope I'm good at it. I don't have that much experience vith vomen.
Blanche: A big, strong, handsome thing like you? Get out of here!
Sven: Vell, it vas nice meeting all of you.
