Any other fans of The Heffernan's, here? I remember Rob, one of the moderators at Couch Potatoes, got me watching this some years ago but I didn't make it past Season 1. I recently revisited the show after finding the episodes on YouTube and I'm addicted - it's so funny! I'd like to buy the entire collection on DVD but it's around £70. Unfortunately Sony Pictures have blocked many episodes on YouTube due to copyright issues so it's a pain to be skipping past 5 or 6 episodes per season, hence I'd like to own the show on DVD.

Doug and Carrie are great... And who doesn't love having Lou Ferrigno as a neighbor??
I haven't seen episodes in awhile, but the show definite grew on me in syndication. Glad you brought this one up, Sam!

Love this show, it started airing twice a day in Sweden just recently. Don't own the complete series yet, only seasons 8 & 9. Would really like the IPS Truck edition from the US.

Aside from Doug and Carrie being awesome, I also love Arthur. I loved him when he played George's Dad in Seinfeld, too!
Yeah, Anders, that truck edition boxset is the one I have my eye on.

Arthur is great, agreed on that! He's so quirky, just like on Seinfeld.

This has been one of my " shows before bed" lately.... I never really watched it before and am loving it! The last two episodes of the series (I think they were, could be wrong) were on earlier this week- man it was depressing after the lighter feel of most previous episodes/seasons. But this is a consistently funny show- love it!

I've been watching the reruns of The King of Queens now and then. Sometimes Doug's selfishness annoys me (as well as Raymond's in Everybody Loves Raymond), though I know it forms a part of Doug's character. I love Carries accent - one of my favourite episode is the one where she tries to lose her accent to improve her chances of getting a promotion. I have never seen the last episode(s) of the show. How does it end?

I'm usually rather impatient, but now I'll behave myself and watch the last episodes (as soon as possible, ha ha).

I have just finished Season 3, moved onto the first couple of S4 episodes last night. I noticed a GG reference in an S3 episode a few nights ago. Carrie was lying on the bed watching TV when it said something like "Now on the Lifetime network it's Rue McClanahan's Intimate Portrait" and she said "Oh no it's not!" while reaching for the tv remote to switch it off!
Really enjoying it, definitely getting better with age.

Still watching - and loving - King of Queens. I'll be moving onto Season 6 soon and I don't want it to end. Doug and Carrie are now up there with my favourite TV couples of all time, I love their chemistry. I think I might put them just behind Number 1 couple Tim and Jill from Home Improvement - and that's quite some feat!
