With Valentine's Day just a few days away, it made me wonder who everyone's favorite couple was on the show. Dorothy and Lucas? Rose and Miles? Sophia and Tony? Blanche and one of her many, many, many men? Or perhaps Doug and Clayton?

Mine was Dorothy and Stan
As they say in Japan Sayonara Stanley!

Stanley, Stanley you really know how to show a girl a good time!
I have tons of quotes! Dot and Stan you rocked!

Mine was Doug and Clayton. It was revolutionary to see a gay couple talking about marriage. And they weren't even portrayed in a stereotypical (i.e. effeminate etc.) way.
The Golden Girls was ahead of its time in many ways. Yet another reason to love the show!

My heart belongs to Dot and Stick Man, but I'd bend over backwards for Clayton and Doug.

This is a hard question !
Rose and Miles are a sweet couple but I always find Miles annoying and I especially don't like him because he cheated on Rose in a Golden Palace episode !
I would have to go with Dorthy and Stan as my favourite couple there's just to many funny moments !
Although I do really like the episode ''the commitments where Blanche thinks her looks are fading when she dates a man who won't sleep with her and when he explains he wants to take its slow and they have a romantic kiss and Rose says '' how dos this make you feel' she replies ' like a lady' and the music fades out ! So romantic !

I liked the relationship Blanche had with her husband George before he died. We all know what kind of person Blanche is when it comes to men and he must have really been something for her to stay completely faithful to him all of those years. The episode where she has the dream about him coming back to life is one of my favorites. I also liked the relationship Dorothy's son Michael had with Lorraine. I really admired how they loved each other and were going to get married no matter what their prejudice families thought of their relationship
