The Golden Girls brought up some good serious issues when it was on air during those 7 years.
it dealt with issues from drug dependence, HIV/AIDS, Emotional Abuse etc. And why? Because its what needed to happen. of course during the 70s we had shows yes like Maude was that she was put she was way too political for this to be a thing.
The golden girls episodes were always important in a way that it seems like every episode was more important than the last. You never forget that episode or it gets brought up in conversation.
Its not another show it never will be.
