The only two episodes I didn't like were the one where President Bush came to town to visit them (Because Dorothy didn't get a chance to tell him off like she wanted to) and the last episode where Dorothy got married and moved out of the house (such a sad and depressing way to end the show imo).

Omg! some of the episodes that have been mentioned in this thread are some of the best! With the exception of Mister Terrific - that is a bad episode as for the rest... the monkey show is hilarious;the pilot is one of the most expertly written pilots of any comedy show! It was 1985 and so many taboos were broken; the finale just summed the whole show - it had comedy, friendship, family, love and pathos and Dorothy finally got her happy ending. I would have preferred that Dorothy didn't get married and Bea remained with the show and lots more episodes were written but it was not to be. Instead we had the Golden Palace and it was no way near as good as the real thing but had some excellent one liners! I think you guys need to re watch these episodes. After all they are timeless and classic comedy gold and will never leave us. The best show ever!!

The episode where Dorothy has an operation on her ankle.
The one where they win lotto & go to the shelter.
The Mr Terrific episode. Just so silly.
The one with Rose's daughter & grand Granddaughter.
The one with Blanche's granddaughter going into a beauty pageant.

Oh, the episodes where Dorothy had chronic fatigue syndrome.
Grab that dough. Hate that one, lol.
The sunshine cadets/Russian episode.
The one where Stan tells Dorothy they are in trouble with the taxman.
I truly do LOVE the show, lol! Love those four women to bits. But some episodes were boring.

Am watching season six and I really don't like Mrs. Blanche Deverauz. So glad it was just a dream, or I would truly hate that episode, with George being alive all that time. Yet, the whole episode being a dream makes it pretty pointless.

I’m binging the last season and it’s the worst. Tons of different writers and directors each Eppy and Dorothy becomes more and more grating and is constantly overacting.since she torpedoed the series because she wasn’t satisfied with the writing, I sense all the overacting was her relishing the attention of having writers cater to Her in and effort to prolong the series. But all the other characters suffered too.

Each episode has its moments.
I basically just don't like the ones that are clearly filler or focus more-so on other characters.

Empty Nest is my least favorite, and seems to be most common among other Golden Girls fans. That episode is just bad altogether, except for the small amount of scenes with the girls that we actually get to see.
