BIll Murray has, since childhood, always been one of my favorite comedians, if not my favorite. I also love Ghostbusters, the movies, the cartoons, the comics. But, for some odd reason, I very rarely watch these two movies. I have both on DVD but maybe watch them every 3 years or so. I really have no idea why, because I do love them and would love to watch either of them on the big screen.

I always thought the first one was better than the second one - more funnier. I felt the second one had lost its way a bit. I have no idea what's going to become of the rumored third one, now that Harold Ramis is no longer here.

I've honestly never understood the hate for the second one. It's not up there with the first one, but who can blame it for that? I think it's a worthy sequel.
Oh, and I hope a third one NEVER happen. They would just cheapen it and get younger stars to support the REAL Ghostbusters. Now that Ramis is gone, there is even less of a point making one.

Don't get me wrong, I don't hate the second one - it just didn't quite do it for me. It was well acted though, I'll give it that.
I agree with you about the third one.
