In the pilot, they shortened the scene a bit with Rose being flung into the closet. When aired on lifetime, the part of Coco opening the door to find Rose was in tact from the scene, but the DVDs have it shortened.
Also was the extended intro only used for Lifetime?

the line at the end of the video is wrong. The microwave IS in episodes after this. Season 6 when Dorothy announces that she's going to marry Stan, Sophia puts her head in the microwave. "Ma, that's a microwave." "I know. I want to get this over as soon as possible." It's nice that someone did this reconstruction. Now for the cut from the George Bush visits episode.... What was cut from the President episode?? When the agent walks in and says "We chose this house because there are four senior citizens living here..." there are a few lines cut. Go rewatch. See the cut. I'll find my VHS tape and post the cut lines...

Wasn't there a cut scene, that was the moment in the theme song where Blanche rolled her sleave up? and the network tried to get rid of any mention of the episode in question?

I believe there was. it was an episode, they had filmed, but the network didn't like it, judging by Bea's hair it was season 1. so they kept the scene in the theme song and deleted any mention of the "lost episode"

The scene that is missing from the intro where blanch pulls her arm through her sleeve is actually the episode where they were robbed. (Break In) Blanch was telling the girls a story of a dog she had as a child and nearly bit someones arm off as she demonstrated it to the girls. Dont know why it was cut.

I recall hearing/reading that once, but who knows what the true story is. Perhaps someone has an original copy of the "Break-In" script and could see what might have been cut...

I just watched the scene with the microwave in it, uncut, it was either TVLand or Lifetime, don't remember which one. We have GGirls on TVLand and also Lifetime. I have it recording on both channels, but the episodes are all out of order, not shown in any particular order. I just finished watching all episodes on DVD, thanks to the public library. I checked out a season a week and watched ALL of them. It is amazing how little of the episodes is shown on TV to allow for all the dang commercials.

Thats what brought me to this site! It’s obvious Blanche says something after the secret service agent says “because four senior citizens live here...” and I’m pretty sure I’ve seen it before, but I just did notice the major cut. I have the iTunes versions of the episodes. I’m guessing they are like the dvd versions???

The Auction (04x11)Could be the Mandela effect, but I could've sworn that Blanche gave Dorothy an extra excuse to keep her towel. 72 Hours (05x19)Blanche: "Well, those don't count. I mean, they did at the time, but this is the definitive "where I lost my virginity" story."Sophia: "It's really nice of you to share something so personal with us, Blanche. In a bayou...You slut."
At least to me, every time I watch that episode, it sounds like they cut something out between Sophia's "You" and "slut".
