Just got season one of True Detective, a blind buy for me as I had never seen it before, but heard amazing things about it. Have seen 5 episodes so far and am sold! Leave it to HBO to create the most original detective show of all time.

For Christmas I bought my mom a Samsung Blu-Ray DVD player. The nice add-on is that it can stream Pandora, YouTube, Netflix and some other online features. I think it will be a nice thing for her to try out and enjoy - she is going to put it in her bedroom, so it will let her watch different shows before falling asleep.

For the first time in many years, I didn't receive any TV-shows this Christmas. I didn't wish for one this year. My wife got Mike & Molly the second season though, so we're enjoying that at the moment.

Been putting it off for years for some reason, but I finally bought the first three seasons of Community on DVD this week (season 4 & 5 were never released here, of course!) I started watching this show when it began airing in Sweden but missed a couple of episodes and kind of lost track. Have since watched episodes here and there, always finding it absolutely hilarious. So glad I finally bought some seasons of it, me and my wife have been cracking up all weekend.

Got Blacklist season 2 last week and have been loving every second of it. We don't have the channel that airs it in Sweden, so basically we wait a year for a season set is released, watch it all in two weeks and then wait another year  |
