It seems that much of the media in the US is focusing on the Ebola outbreak. Two days ago I was in Omaha, Nebraska at the hospital where a young man had been treated for Ebola (and was released at the same time I was walking into the hospital - a bit crazy with news coverage).
I'm curious if our international members are hearing much about Ebola as well? Our media often "blows up" a story to get ratings, but then complains about the overwhelming chaos of news coverage by others. It's a no-win situation, and the public (ME) gets frustrated by the barrage of information.
But enough on that... what does Ebola mean to you?

Lots of Ebola news here too. I'm kind of annoyed that not more have been done to contain it from the outbreak origin. Shit COULD hit the fan when it could have been avoided.

Ebola scares the bejesus out of me. Even though Contagion is just a movie, and I've seen it, it goes to show that something like this could pose a real threat.
Contagion was rather cleverly thought out, as it showed how a virus could quite literally blanket the whole world. If that happened for real, we're boned.
We hear about it in the news - it's really rather frightening.
