How many of you have ever seen an episode of The Love Boat? The 1977-87 series was full of old Hollywood glamour, current, past and to-be stars and all kinds of cheesy love that made viewers happy. Last week there was a cast reunion, plus nearly 50 past guest stars appeared at the event as well. Can you name any of these folks? Front Row: Charo, Doris Roberts, Jill Whelan, Lauren Tewes, Ted Lange, Fred Grandy, Gavin Macleod, Bernie Kopell, Dick Van Patten; middle row: Joyce DeWitt, Pam Grier, Charlene Tilton, Jamie Farr, Florence Henderson, Diane Ladd, Marion Ross, Kristy McNichol, Carol Lawrence, Lee Meriwether, Jeraldine Saunders; back row: Lorenzo Lamas, Loni Anderson, MacKenzie Phillips, Adrian Zmed, Christopher Knight, Don Most, Tracy Nelson

The Love Boat a so romantic show with so many guest stars! Name one famous actor from the 70's or 80's who hasn't been part of the show?? I really wonder who?

I loved the Love Boat as a child. The themesong... I always remember a cruise trip to Sweden (I was 8 or 9 years old): we were in a hurry on the way back to Finland, because we didn't want to miss an episode of the Love Boat (our whole Family). And we made it on time: I ate chocolate and marshmallows (bought from the boat) and watched the Love Boat!
Lauren Tewes as a cruise director Julie McCoy was my favourite.
I think I have to watch a few episodes during my Christmas vacation.

The only Love Boat episode I've seen is one with a guest actor called Jeremy Brett. He played a valet to this young man. I was drooling like the clappers upon seeing Jeremy..! *melts into liquid and blushes insanely*

I think The Love Boat occasionally pops up every now and again on Aussie TV. We have a new tv channel called 7flix and it has mostly American shows on it. I haven't watched the channel yet, but I've seen the tv guide for it.
It has shows like Greys Anatomy Diff'rent Strokes The Nanny Seinfield Benson Bewitched Black-ish Married with Children etc
just wish another channel we get (called ONE) would start airing it.. they rerun MASH so often you can quote the characters..
