Bill Cosby is facing a lot of pressure lately, from accusations from several women who say he attacked them years ago. A planned NBC special has been cancelled, and now his upcoming return to sitcoms has been axed as well. Have you been following his story in the media lately? What do you think about "America's Favorite Dad" and the allegations?

Oh No!!!! I don't know him I only know his acting so I won't suppose anything but I really feel for what's happening to his upcoming new sitcom! I was expecting so much of it... I only hope it's nothing but a bad dream. Please come back very soon Bill for home entertainment just like in the good ole days!

I think it's crap. All allegations must be investigated, but why so many so long ago that never spoke up? it's fishy...

I was so saddened to hear this was happening to Bill again. With all these new victims coming forward, I really don't know what to think. I mean, Bill Cosby is one of the LAST celebrities people would think could do these things. I really hope it's not true, but you never know. The Cosby Show will always be a classic but if this turns out to be true, it will be sad for the legacy of the show.

I don't know if our international members are aware of what has happened in the UK over recent years, but following the death of an 'entertainer' called Jimmy Savile, lots of child sexual abuse claims came to light and it turned out he had committed many many of these crimes. And subsequently, lots of other claims of living entertainers having committed the same crimes came about. Many of the people I watched on TV in the 80's ended up in jail, finally convicted all those years later. So right now nothing surprises me and it often takes just one person to speak up of historical sexual abuse for others to do the same.

Justice has to do what it has to do because as they say : innocent til proven guilty so let's wait and see...

he is both. why? he *might* be the one who did horrible things to little actresses on his show. and he *might* just be a victim to all of this. BUT it's too little too late. why so many years? if he did this stuff to me i would be talking about it all day long!
but i strongly believe in innocent until proven guilty.

I had not heard it until then, must have been quite a scandal in the UK. None of the accusers are from actresses of The Cosby Show, though.

I think there is a mix of things going on here. He probably is guilty of some womanizing, but the facts aren't always adding up. There was a woman who came forward who said she was at the Playboy Mansion at age 15?? That doesn't work. And when you get Gloria Allred on the case, you know it has become about money. The media keeps pushing that "all these women have the same story." Well, perhaps it's because the media is telling every detail! Someone could go online, find when and where Cosby performed in a certain year, and claim to have been there. It's a shame that none of these women ever received legal or medical assistance that could give some insight into the allegations. Just one trace of treatment would be evidence for me. What is a shame is that Cosby is already guilty, according to the media and public perception. He will never get his reputation back. It reminds me of how the media skewered Food Network host Paula Deen. She admitted to using a racial slur - once, in the privacy of her home, after a man held a gun to her head and threatened to kill her - and it destroyed her reputation. Turns out that other allegations that came up proved false, but that was back-page news. I would hate to think Cosby did these crimes... and if he did, he should be punished. But perhaps these women should have done something at the time indicating what occurred. Instead, they look like money-grubbing media hogs.

AND get a slice of the cake You never know... Maybe some kind of blackmail or something...

I honestly don't know what to believe.
You look at these people as you grow up, and think nothing of it, except: "What a good thing he's doing", then years later, you think: "I can't believe he'd do something like that. He's not the type."

I have to mention that Gloria Allred only represent 5 of the 28 women who have come out so far, not everyone. A lot of these women have said they don't want his money.
I hope he speaks up soon.
