We actually lost our last pet a couple of months ago. Our family had four cats, and I remember telling everyone onthe forum about the first and second ones passing. Within about a year the last two cats passed away, one of which had been in the family for over 15 years. My mom has decided not to get anymore cats, because they are getting older and getting to the vet is becoming more of a chore.
They all lived with my mother, but having lived with them so many years and seeing them so often, they still feel like my pets. Me personally, I don't have any cats, dogs or anything else here at home. I've always wanted a dog, but I have so many fragile ad expensive things in this rather small appartment that it just wouldn't work at the moment. I hope to get a Golden Retriever one day.

This is Rosie (the dog) and Lewis (the cat). They're best friends and keep us hugely entertained with their nightly antics. They wrestle and play, then settle in for a nap together. I've never seen a dog and cat get along so well and have so much fun together!

Awww! I like the idea of sharing our pets. I have a 3 3/4 yr old Pug named Larry (on the left), and a 3 1/2 yr old Pomeranian(1/2)-Chihuahua(1/4)-Pug(1/4) mix named Alice (on the right). They're my pride and joy! They make coming home a little party every time, even if I just went to the end of the driveway for 2 minutes on garbage night.
