I've been watching Friends (reruns from a local proadcaster). Last night I watched "The One with Ross's Tan" (Season 10, episode 2). Amanda - a woman with a fake British accent - was hilarious. I didn't even remember her.

I just watched all of "Friends" on Netflix. I had forgotten how much fun the show was... and was reminded of how dated some of the material is as well. Answering machines, corded phones, no computers in early seasons... it wasn't *that* long ago when it started, was it?

That's true, Jim. On one hand it is long ago when Friends started, on the other hand technical development has been exceptionally rapid during the past few decades. I wish I still had a corded phone and an answering machine (for "nostalgy reasons").
Tonight I will watch episodes "The One with the Cake" and "The One Where Rachel's Sister Babysits".
"The one with the hypnosis tape" (Chandler, "a strong confident woman who does not need to smoke", is trying to quit smoking) is an excellent episode!

Jennifer Coolidge was hilarious on that episode and was hilarious on the spin-off, Joey, as well. She's not stealing every scene in 2 Broke Girls.
