Yes, it definitely shows her diminished health. Here is the video of the evening... if only they had more time together on stage to talk and gab... Sometimes aging saddens me. Quoting Blanche: "I just get so depressed I don't want to get out of bed in the morning...I don't want to get out of bed ever again". But on the other hand, Mario Lopez is so handsome he makes my Ovaltine boil! Quoting Dorothy: "She [Blanche] could be in a coma, but put a man within 5 miles of her and she'll roll over and shave her legs". |

A truly rare photo of Rue and Estelle (and friend), taken in California long after GG had completed. I found this on the Estate of Rue website for sale.  This is another image of photos available from the Estate of Rue... Rue's Emmy win, and Estelle, Betty and Herb Edelman join in the celebration.
