Kristin Oh MY! Christopher's biological mother and JR's first murderer lol! So many souvenirs! I was 8 or 9 years old when the season was first aired in France and I remember we used to discuss and guess who the heck could have shot JR so aften with the children from my neighbourhood who were about my age that was crazy that was THE question of the year!!! The most well known Dallas cliffhanger along with the shower scene (Bobby's) after Pamela's bad Dream! Thanks for sharing the pictures Jim and that's so funny to know that Larry Hagman was in fact best friends in real life with everyone he hurt or had been hurt by on the show lol (Linda Gray, Patrick Duffy, Mary Crosby...) Then again he hurt almost everybody on the show! :silly:Was he best friend with Ken Kercheval I don't know about that?

so I've been BINGE watching Dallas, week after week, season after season. I'm enjoying immensely.
Bobby is just beating the crap out of JR in the pool after Pam's fiasco looking for a maybe-alive Mark Graison...
Not liking Donna Reed...eep.
JR got shot, the fire, Bobby got shot, plane crashes, drink after drink after drink.... "Can I get you something from the bar?"

Yep a glass of Scotch Ian!
I like the scene where Bobby is comforting Pam in the bedroom when she comes to Southfork to pick Christopher up! Jenna sees them and understands what's going on between the two of them!
I don't like Donna Reed either she was known as the fake Miss Ellie BTW...

I'm planning to do the same binge thing in near future, maybe during the next summer. Or maybe I will watch one episode of Dallas every Friday like I used to do as a teenager. I'm reliving right now that episode of Bobby beating the crap out of JR!

I had a day off yesterday, so I stayed home but planned to work all day. I read a while, wrote a few lines... then I remembered Dallas. I had a vivid glimpse from my childhood: Friday night, salty snacks, Cola, and a fresh episode of Dallas! Luckily I have bought the whole series on DVD. So I started from season 1 - I watched one episode, two episodes... Suddenly the old and immense magic was there. I couldn't stop. Eventually I watched 10 episodes. And now Sue Ellen is preagnant... But who's the father? I've seen all the seasons twice, first as a teenager in 1980s and early 1990s, then as an adult in late 1990s. I can truly share Ian's immense enjoyment! Dallas is still captivating, Sue Ellen my favourite character, as well as Pamela, Bobby, J.R., and Miss Ellie. I can't wait to see Clayton, Clayton's deranged sister... And Afton Cooper, Donna, Jenna Wade (Presley) and many others. Pamela (about Sue Ellen): Sometimes I get the feeling if J.R. didn't exist, she'd just disappear into a puff of smoke.

I wish Dallas was available to watch online somewhere, like Netflix or Hulu. I think I would get drawn in again pretty quick.

Well, I got part way through the "Sue Ellen makes a movie" season and had to take a break... Lots more to watch. Will resume but binge watching habits have changed.
