A topic MUCH discussed over at Couch Potatoes - how could the writers have overlooked Halloween on Richmond Street? I am a huge fan of sitcom Halloween episodes (nothing can beat the Taylor's Halloween festivities in Home Improvement) so it saddens me we didn't get to see at least one episode where the girls were getting into the 'spirit' of things [groan]. I can just imagine Rose and Blanche dressing up in some ridiculous costumes - no doubt Blanche would have to go as some sexy vamp And I bet she was only too happy to hand out the treats as well as receive them! What would you like to have seen in a Halloween themed episode?

I think another cross-over night on Halloween would have been perfect. Imagine a party... Dorothy could dress up as Fess Parker (since they bear a striking resemblance already), Sophia could go as an Oompah-Loompah (green hair, orange skin and all), Rose would go as Clark Kent (I can hear it now - "Hey, these eyeglasses make me look completely different!), and Blanche would be all in leather (just something pulled from the closet). The scene would be that someone at the party is in a full costume, but no one knows who it is. The girls all have ideas - a former suitor, a Sicilian connection, or a friend from St. Olaf. At the end of the episode, it would be revealed as Stan - and the party abruptly ends. That's my quick write-up!

I'm not sure about the other girls, but Dorothy would wear something with a hump.

And Rose would make some traditional St. Olaf Halloween treats for the neighborhood kids!

A remake of The Psychose shower scene would have been my pleasure lol knowing that the girls were scared to death watching it would have been a good start for any Halloween episode a bit like the existing scene where Sophia comes into the kitchen with a knife...

I think an episode where they were having a party with the neighbors would have been good, we could have gotten the cast of Empty Nest make appearances. That would have been cool. Dreyfuss could come looking like this:

Funny stuff... The music, the opening, and even the credits connect to GG staff!
