There was a constant open door for talent (and talentless) to appear on The Golden Girls. Who was your favorite guest star? Who deserved to live with Stan?

It's only fitting that I name the one responsible for my username as one of my favorite guest stars - Casey Sander, who played Little Sven in the season three episode A Visit from Little Sven. I think his portrayal as the dumb Swede is hilarious, especially his interactions with Blaaanche (Yuuuseless!) and I enjoy his attempt at a Swedish accent. The episode itself is a very good one as well, IMO. I looked up Casey Sander the other day and had NO IDEA just what an amazing career he's had! I must've seen him in a dozen or so other shows without even realising it. I'm great at recognizing faces, but his has always managed to escape me for some reason despite vividly remembering him from this Golden Girls episode as Little Sven. One of the many roles you may know him from is as Bernadette's dad in The Big Bang Theory.

Mr. Terrific deserved to live with Stan Bob Dishy is a pretty good actor, though. Anybody who can make me feel something toward his character has talent.

I agree with Picture It. Mister Terrific... if he was playing Anne Frank, I'm sure the audience would yell: she's in the attic, she's in the attic!

I enjoyed Debbie Reynolds' role as the potential housemate.

I wouldn't call him talentless, but the man who played Big Daddy in the second episode he appeared in. He's a good enough actor but the character was completely different, I didn't like that.

Remember the board game "Guess Who?" It's a game where two people try to guess the other's mystery person by asking a series of yes or no questions. The game has been around for decades and I wanted to bring it to the Golden Girls community. I created the cards with Notable Guest Stars that you can swap out of the game boards that come with the set. It's much more interesting because, unlike with the original game where you base your answers on appearance only, with the Golden Girls version you can ask questions based on character and relationships. Questions like, "Is the character related to Dorothy?" Or, "Did the character stay over at the house?" Or, "Has the character slept with Blanche?" The PDF has 3 sets of cards that are all identical except for the color. Each player gets a set to place into the game board, or if you don't have a board, just arrange flat on the table with a book between players to hide their view of the other's cards. The third set of cards is set aside and shuffled. Each player will draw one card from this pile and that will become their mystery person that the other must guess. First to guess the other's mystery person gets to pick what kind of cheesecake they both will share. Because everybody wins with The Golden Girls! Directions: Print each of the 3 pages on card stock or cover stock. Make sure to size the pages to 'Fit to Page 8.5 x 11." For the folks across the pond, Print at 100%. Then cut out along the dotted line to make 3 stacks of 24 cards each. Don't mix them up! Insert 2 of the sets into the game board and use the 3rd set as a grab deck. Test print one set of cards on regular printer paper to make sure they are the right size for the game board. There are two different sizes of game boards and you might need to resize the sheet to make sure it fits. Follow me on twitter for lots of Golden Girls related stuff and trivia: twitter.com/alanronayP.S. It was really really hard to narrow it down to these 24 actors. I wish I could have included so many others. (Cousin Sven, or is that Swen? among them)

Cousin Magda (who loved to drink slurpies) was great! She was such a... and her accent was... how should I say it... she was such a "made up" character, If you know what I mean.

And by the way, alanronay's cards are simply fabulous. If anyone of you come to Finland, we have to play "Guess Who?".
I always hated Dorothy's son, Michael. So the actor must have been good, because Michael was meant to be an annoying brat (I think).
For me Jean (the one Blanche thought was a Lebanese) was one of my favorite guest star.

I've been watching a lot of older shows and it looks like a lot of these actors traveled in the same circles because many of the same people pop up.
