I have had AT&T DSL for a few years now, and have become increasingly frustrated with it. Granted, part of me thinks the router/modem should last forever, which is not the case. I just spent another 30 minutes of my life trying to get a new router/modem purchased, without a contract, and finally went through a few non-English speaking reps to get to a person who could help me.
It's no wonder customer service is a failing industry.
But, at least my modem should arrive soon!!
Who provides the web-pipe to your home? Are you happy with them?

We don't have many options where I live. Verizon is our provider. They're ok, customer service is meh. I think you're right about good customer service. It's gone the way of the dodo- extinct!

I have T-Mobile. Or EE as it's also known.

So is your pipe bigger now than it used to be Jim? :DYour Internet pipe I mean, those of you who picture something else get outta here!!! Mine is bigger since yesterday : A French Telecom technician came home to fix a problem we were facing with our phone at home and he said our DSL plot was a dump so he replaced it and miracle no more trouble on youtube or Deezer! They often say no matter how big the pipe is but you know when you're talking about the internet the bigger the better!

I finally hooked up my new router/modem last evening... and cannot tell any kind of difference in the service. Terribly disappointed in AT&T. I actually went to sleep listening to Live 365 radio, and was using my iPad before I snoozed. If I tried to watch a video on the iPad, it buffered the Live 365 on my iPhone. Grrr!
Give me a rotary phone and VCR!

It's a dump Jim and like I often say there's nothing like old stuff! I'm fed up with daily updates on anything connected! You sometimes can't even tell the difference between new and old versions!!!! 30 years ago you couldn't even find the word in the dictionary! You know what? I'm playing Paperboy on my old gameboy and I'm having a blast!

Is AT&T the US version of T-Mobile?
