Did anyone else see the season finale? What were your thoughts??
Sheldon held an item in his hand at the end of the episode that really surprised me - and the car ride with Leonard and Penny was even more interesting.
Raj and his girlfriend - blah!!

Re Sheldon - I was gobsmacked, letting out a gasp Re Raj and girlfriend - do you mean Lucy? If so, I don't get her.

Sadly, I believe this show has jumped the shark. Once Leonard and Penny got married, and "ShAmy" had their issues, I just lost interest. I haven't followed much this season - the first few years are the episodes I enjoy over and over.
Anyone else burned out on TBBT?

I haven't seen season 8 yet, so I'm not entirely sure what's going on, so I can't really comment, but I know about Leonard and Penny, and Sheldon and Amy. It's possible it's 'jumped the shark', especially with Leonard and Penny's marriage. For what it's worth, I think it's still okay, but I think that eventually it'll end with a cliffhanger.

I think we can all agree the show ending is the best thing CBS has ever done.

I'm sorry but I didn't like this show. I'm just so sick of these TV shows and movies about geeky guys getting hot girlfriends. I mean how often do you ever see a homely geeky girl getting the hunky man of her dreams?
It's just so unrealistic and sexist in my opinion.

I never enjoyed the show either. Thought it was one dimensional, i really didn't laugh once and for some strange reason had 10 episodes show in a row over in Australia. even the repeats got worse.

The only thing keeping this show popular is the million reruns. So glad its ending

With the show ending literally soon, will it be remembered as good comedy or a cheese factory of laughs? Imo lost its touch after season 5 but whatever people find funny i guess, so long TBBT

Imo lost its touch after season 5 but whatever people find funny i guess, so long TBBT I think TBBT will go on like Friends, Golden Girls, I Love Lucy... it's a comfortable show that made us laugh for 12 seasons. We know the characters, their stories, their nerdiness... it's been a fun ride (although definitely some higher points at times than others). What I think will be interesting is how it's marketed after it ends. Right now it's a staple of the TBS nightly line-up... and some individual episodes are available on Hulu for a short duration (constant rotation every week or so). But, with it being done, I wonder if there is a new way that it can be marketed to maximize the cash going to the stars. With Friends, we have the full series on Netflix... but will TBBT come up as a full series on a streaming network? That remains to be seen...

I watched the finale and it was very very fitting for its final episode. I had no issue with the show as a whole, but i'm glad they were able to end it on a happy note, not many shows now can do that. I just hope they are able to create another spinoff series after the success of "Young Sheldon"
