Since neither spin-off has an official release on DVD and they may not have been shown on TV where you live, I'm curious to know how much you've seen of the three spin-offs; The Golden Palace, Empty Nest and Nurses?

I watched EN and Nurses during their original runs. I've seen GP several times, and I have watched the episodes on YouTube before they were taken down. But, recently? No... It's been a few years.

I've only seen random episodes of the all three series.
I think I have never seen a whole episode of Nurses or Empty Nest. They were never aired in Finland.
Golden Palace wasn't an exception, it hasn't been aired in Finland. I've seen 4 or 5 episodes of the Golden Palace on YouTube. I wish I could see them all. I wish even more that I coulde get them on DVD!

Well. i only seen Golden Palace. i can admit i pirated it.
I firmly believe that, you can pirate tv shows until it available on dvd, netflix, hulu or some other service legally.
I have no problem sharing it. its taped from the UK with uncut episodes (i also have the lifetime airs which is cut like crazy).
i seen all episodes of the golden palace. i am a fan. i love all of it including the little kid,
he wasn't that bad.
I wish it got another season. just another one. but the audience just wanted 4 women, not 3 of them with 2 guys and a kid. i guess

To be honest, it's been so long since I saw an episode of Golden Palace that I can't remember a thing about it. I can't even remember when it was last aired.
I've never heard of Empty Nest or Nurses.

To be honest, it's been so long since I saw an episode of Golden Palace that I can't remember a thing about it. I can't even remember when it was last aired. I've never heard of Empty Nest or Nurses. Empty Nest was a successful spin-off of TGG. If you recall the GG episode where the neighbor wife (played by Rita Noreno) was upset about her husband/doctor being so busy, that was the start of the series. The episode bared little resemblance to the series - the wife had died, and the doctor's two daughters lived with him. It had some great times, but not the vast love of TGG. Nurses was a spin-off of Empty Nest. It only lasted a couple seasons. It was supposed to be based in the Miami hospital, but it didn't have the charm of the other two series. The "Moonlight Madness" and hurricane episodes were all featured in multi-series crossovers. Characters from different series appeared on the shows during the original run.

I think in all honesty, I must've missed an episode involving the scene described. I didn't realize Nurses was a spin-off from Empty Nest.

That was quite interesting to read about these two. I like that Estelle guested in Empty Nest. I noticed that David Rasche from Sledgehammer guested in Nurses. I'll have to see if there's anything on YouTube.

I've only seen The Golden Palace back when they did reruns on Lifetime, and frankly I didn't like it.
There were so many things about that show that bugged me.
I didn't like the fact that Blanche sold her family home that she and the other girls had shared for years.
I didn't like any of the three new male characters (especially the annoying little boy who was quickly written out).
I also didn't like the way that they wrote out Rose's boyfriend Miles by saying that he was cheating on her and decided to marry his new girlfriend in the same hotel where Rose worked.
Also I felt that this show didn't give any of the same meaningful commentary on life issues that The Golden Girls was well-known for. The only episode from The Golden Palace I can remember that ever came close was the one where Blanche was throwing a party for the Daughters of the Confederacy and Roland had to explain to Blanche exactly why black people find the confederate flag to be offensive (because he had a lot of very good points about this).
