IMO, Frasier is the most brilliant and witty show that has ever aired. It's no wonder they won an Emmy for a record 5 consecutive years for Outstanding Comedy Series, wiping the floors with ratings favorite Friends. I don't think any other cast has been more perfect together than the cast of Frasier, they all played great off each other without a single exception. It helped that the writing was top notch too, of course. It has a bit of British flair to it, the bizarre situations they find themselves in and so on, I definitely understand why it's so popular in Britain. Join me in praising this terrific show!

Very, very good show. Kelsey Grammer's character made the transition from Cheers to the titular show went very well.
I'm not certain, but I'm sure I recall reading that he didn't get on with the little doggie who played Eddie.

Kind of make their relationship more "real" in the show. I like that!

Rather reminds me of Wilfred Brambell and Harry H Corbett from Steptoe & Son: they reportedly hated one another on sight (when they apparently first met), and it kind of showed in their scenes together. Particularly in an episode called Divided We Stand.

I am watching Frasier on Netflix US and I am loving revisiting the show. I watched it on Channel 4 back when it originally aired but have rarely watched it ever since. It's not hard to see why this show was so popular and why, all these years on, it still holds up as a great show. A classic.

I'd like to watch Taxi's Final season but from what I see it's not available yet!

Frasier is an ebb-and-flow for me. I've never been "hooked," but when I catch it i definitely stay tuned in to the show. As much as I liked "Cheers" growing up, I don't look for episodes on television anymore. A couple years ago I was in Boston for work, and visited the Cheers bar (formerly the Bull and Finch). The exterior was the same, but when I opened the door downstairs, it was a very small bar, and nothing like the television show. The walls were decked out with memorabilia from the show, but otherwise it was pretty much a regular bar. I sat at the bar, and had a good burger and beer. I asked the bartender if people still were attracted to the place, and she said they were - but there are young kids who come in and don't realize it was a television show. That hurt... but the show went off the air in 1993, and twenty years later, they wouldn't have remembered the Sam/Diane/Rebecca dramas and all of the phrases Cliff used after entering Cheers. Sorry for the randomness... Yay for Frasier!

I consider it my duty to pass on my good taste in television and movie to my son and hopefully the other kids that will follow, if it don't stick, at least they won't be clueless about pop culture phenomenons like Cheers.

Yeah, was very sad to hear that as well. A bit shocking he was just 77, that means he was just 52 when the show started! Phenomenal actor. R.I.P.

Read somewhere that Grammer wants a Fraiser revival and may be taking it to netflix. Really dunno how it would work without John Mahoney but interested if it gets picked up 😬😬

He wasn't that old when he passed so definitely could have seen him return.
