nope. not okay. Work situation has gotten worse. Have spoken with a lawyer to find me an appropriate lawyer.
Details later, cuz I'm just sick and tired of talking about it.

... trying to keep my head above water with work. Last Monday my assistant gave notice, and left four days later (not even two weeks notice). I have a big event next Friday, and I am trying to get everything lined up ASAP. Hate being stressed... I hope everyone is well. The forums have gone fairly quiet.

Well, my life has been hectic as hell for a couple of months now. We just moved to a new place and I'm so glad I went from a one bedroom apartment to a four bedroom apartment. I am ready to die in this apartment, NEVER do I want to move again. Packing my collection, with the extreme care needed, was quite a task. What a complete pain in the butt this move was - and we just moved TWO blocks from the former apartment! We packed for months and still on moving day, we underestimated how much stuff that weren't in the boxes. Also, half way into the move, I hurt my foot and couldn't do anything all day, which made us late and had to move the rest of the stuff 5 days later since my brother was busy all week.
To add to it all, my wife and son went with her parents to her home country of Thailand - for a month! 24 days left until they get back... I couldn't go with them due to school and work, and she's been dying to go back there for 12 years and they got a great deal for the tickets, plus she wanted her family in Thailand to see our son, so I gave her my blessing to leave me all alone in this big apartment, where I've had to unpack most things by myself.
Going on two weeks tomorrow and I'm still not quite finished with everything.
Oh well, I love the apartment. Last place was bottom floor, this is at the top of the builing, so no one can see us when the shades are up or anything. I can walk around naked if I feel like it (which I don't, but it's nice to know I could if I would). Now we have a bedroom, Charlie has a bedroom, I have a room for my movie collection and we have a spare bedroom for guests/office. Two bathrooms, too. Just a really nice place and I've never been happier.

Glad you found a nice place to live in Anders! Take your time to settle down! You can't manage with everything overnight! You need time to adjust especially knowing that you're feeling a bit lonely right now!

Boxing up, sorting out, tossing, unpacking, cleaning, etc. Always a challenge. Hopefully you get settled soon.

How exciting! A new larger place. Enjoy the wanton nudity - you can express yourself like Blanche: "In the summer, you can sunbathe with your top off."
still off work..sigh

... just stuck in a rut, and hoping for some excitement in the near future. Ready for a major change - I just need to pull the trigger.

My wife and son has been home for a week now and it's starting to feel like one, too!
I really think I have found my calling in life. I should have been an interior decorator, for nerds! My movie room is just about the most beautiful place I've ever seen. Best thing about it there's still so much I can do with it. Have a whole wall to fill with shelves as my collection keeps growing over the years and there's plenty of other spaces to put collectibles and such. I have like seven different projects/improvements in mind that I will do, one at a time when my wallet allows. It's never felt better being a movie nut!

I've watched it and I didn't know Stephanie Powers (Mrs H.) had no hairdresser she took care of her hair herself! She and her hair what an unusual story!
