It seems we have hit a lag on the forums, and I'm not sure how to increase engagement. I am posting 1-5 tweets a day, linking back to different threads on the forum. I have emailed our members about Jim Colucci's book, Betty's birthday and other topics, but not really seeing much traction.
Any suggestions, folks? I know we dealt with this on Couch Potatoes, so it's not "new." However, having just a couple posts a day makes for a fairly quiet forum.

Speaking only for myself, I've had trouble logging in this week. What kind of trouble, TBG? If I need to look into the forum set-up, I can... Just let me know.

I just joined, but do you also link posts to a facebook page? Nothing on Facebook - I do tweet from our profile, and link to threads on the forum. I often see 200+ guests on the forum in a 24-hour period, but no posts. I know bots and things visit, but I know "real" people visit too. If our members participate in posts, it brings more opportunities for conversation.

We have great interaction on Twitter... but driving traffic to the forums, and having people participate, is something different.
We moved from our previous home - Couch Potatoes - for similar reasons. It seems message boards are fading in popularity, and social media has taken over. I do not want to start a new "forum" on Facebook, but I'm not sure what else to do to engage people here.
The other part is... as much as we all love TGG, there are millions of other things out there that people are interested in. The DVDs have arrived, the cast has nearly all passed away (and I dread the day when we hear news about Betty White), and there just doesn't seem to be much more out there to share. So, keeping things moving in a positive direction, while focused on the show, is our biggest challenge.
